Goodreads Description:

In Marla Klein and Ivy Wilde’s world, teens are the gatekeepers of culture. A top fashion label employs sixteen-year-old Marla to dictate hot new clothing trends, while Ivy, a teen pop star, popularizes the garments that Marla approves. Both girls are pawns in a calculated but seductive system of corporate control, and both begin to question their world’s aggressive levels of consumption. Will their new “eco-chic” trend subversively resist and overturn the industry that controls every part of their lives?
MY RATE: 3.9 out of 5

MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK:
I really, really think that this was a very good idea for a book!
I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the confusion it caused me transitioning from points of views,
This is like a type of project runway where fashion is everything.
and by everything I mean everything.
You have to keep up with the trends and if you don't you are a obsoloser. It alters between the points of view of Marla and Ivy (starting with Marla in 1st person point of view and followed by Ivy with 3rd person point of view.) and it shows the life of two different yet alike characters.

This book made me change my perspective in a lot of things, it also reminded me that a lot of people have lives where it isn't all rainbows and butterflies. This is a book that has changed me so much even if I only read it for a while. I did not expect Ivy's ending at all!!

COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO:
A) LOVES FASHION
B) IS INTO DYSTOPIAN

FAVORITE QUOTE:
"Oh and Eva" he said quickly.
"No matter what they tell you...
   you always have a choice."

Now that I finished this book
 I will never read again.
