Godreads Description: Kiki Nichols might not survive music camp. She’s put her TV-loving, nerdy self aside for one summer to prove she’s got what it takes: she can be cool enough to make friends, she can earn that music scholarship, and she can get into Krause University’s music program. Except camp has rigid conduct rules—which means her thrilling late-night jam session with the hot drummer can’t happen again, even though they love all the same TV shows, and fifteen minutes making music with him meant more than every aria she’s ever sung. But when someone starts snitching on rule breakers and getting them kicked out, music camp turns into survival of the fittest. If Kiki’s going to get that scholarship, her chance to make true friends—and her chance with the drummer guy—might cost her the future she wants more than anything.

MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK: This book totally blew my mind, I loved the fact that it didn't end how you expected it but at the same  it did. This book was extremely funny and I reccomend to those who just suffered a breakup with their favorite series. FEELS I KNOW I loved the fact that in a realistic way it shows you how things might not go in the direction you want but if you put yourself up to it you can reach anything. The only thing I disliked about this book would be how cliché it was at first, the ex jealous best friend, geek girl trying to be herself, etc. Regarding the cliché beginning the end made up for it.

I would reccomend this book to anyone who:
~ Just broke up with a book
~ Is up to multiple plot twist and unexpected turns

This book was a complete success!

THE REAL PETER PAN BY PEARS DUDGEON

Source: Review Copy
Genre: Non-fiction, Biography
Publisher: Macmillan
Publishing Date: July 12th, 2016
ISBN:1250087791 (ISBN13: 9781250087799)
Goodreads Description
The world has long been captivated by the story of Peter Pan and the countless movies, plays, musicals, and books that retell the story of Peter, Wendy, and the Lost Boys. Now, in this revealing behind-the-scenes book, author Piers Dudgeon examines the fascinating and complex relationships among Peter Pan's creator, J.M. Barrie, and the family of boys who inspired his work.

After meeting the Llewelyn Davies family in London's Kensington Garden, Barrie struck up an intense friendship with the children and their parents. The innocence of Michael, the fourth of five brothers, went on to influence the creation of Barrie's most famous character, Peter Pan. Barrie was so close to the Llewelyn Davies family that he became trustee and guardian to the boys following the deaths of their parents. Although the relationship between the boys and Barrie (and particularly between Barrie and Michael) was enduring, it was punctuated by the fiercest of tragedies. Throughout the heart-rending saga of Barrie's involvement with the Llewelyn Davies brothers, it is the figure of Michael, the most original and inspirational of their number, and yet also the one whose fate is most pitiable, that stands out.

MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK:

When I first saw the title, I didn't even think twice about the plot of the book because as long as it revolves around Neverland, I would be okay. When the book arrived, I decided to read its information and even though it couldn't be possible it intrigued me even more. What's more interesting than a book about Neverland is a book about Neverland with a plot twist, a different perspective.

The story as it is was completely interesting and made me want to know more and more. The story made me want to be 5 again, just because if my mind were to wander it wouldn't be considered weird.

I cannot believe that a biography, especially when we are talking about  a non-fiction, would be so fascinating. Awe is close to what I felt while reading this book. Especially when I say that I never cry and this book had me on the verge of tears, not because it was sad but because it touched my child-like side deeply.

I WOULD RECCOMENDED THIS BOOK TO:
Anyone who wants to live childhood and go to Neverland
