Goodreads description:

This innovative, heartfelt debut novel tells the story of a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world. When a new family moves in next door, she begins a complicated romance that challenges everything she’s ever known. The narrative unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, texts, charts, lists, illustrations, and more.

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

This following drawing is part of my new idea. For most of my book reviews I will draw something that in my opinion represents this book, this is what i thought would do it:

MY RATE: 4.7 out of 5

MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK:
If I could say that I loved this book, it would be an understatement. The typical story of the good girl falling in love with the bad boy never takes a turn when suddenly the girl can't get out of the house at all.
I completely loved this book and its darker side! It shows you that life is not perfect in the most unforgettable way. I have a list that I write down at the end of the year of my top 25 and believe me, this one will make the cut!

I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO LOVES:
-contemporary novels
- bad boy meets good girl

MADDY AND OLLIE, DO I SHIP? OF COURSE I FREAKING SHIP THEM!!! IF THEY DARE TO SINK I WILL HUNT THEM DOWN AND GLUE THEM TOGETHER IF I HAVE TO!!!!

Now that I am done with my dramatics I need to say that I have a new idea for this blog!! I'm not sure when I will start it but I know it will be soon.

Goodreads Description:

A young woman awakes trapped in an enclosed space. She has no idea who she is or how she got there. With only her instincts to guide her, she escapes her own confinement—and finds she’s not alone. She frees the others in the room and leads them into a corridor filled with the remains of a war long past. The farther these survivors travel, the worse are the horrors they confront. And as they slowly come to understand what this prison is, they realize that the worst and strangest possibilities they could have imagined don’t even come close to the truth.

MY RATE: 4.7 out of 5 stars

MY OPINION AND THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK:

If I was told to write a list of my favorite heroines, I know that M. Savage will be in my top ten!! Believe me when I tell you that I have read a looooooooooot of books where the main character is a pretty cool heroine.  Those are the best type of books because they let girls, specifically, know that you don't need a guy to be your savior.
Now that I finish with that very intense and deep comment I have afew things to say.

Imagine waking up from what seems like a deep sleep and then notice that you are IN A FREAKING COFFIN!!! I am telling you right now that this book will give you the feels all the way and will get you hooked the second you open it!!!

But I'm going to tell you this book will hit you right in the feels like

BLOOD MOON BY TERI HARMAN

Series: The Moonlight Trilogy #1
Pages: 350
Published Date: June 22, 2013
Source: I was sent a review copy.

Goodreads Description:

Willa dreams of true events and her best friend is a ghost. Simon can heal any wound with a touch and senses others’ emotions, intentions. All their lives they’ve felt alone in their bizarre abilities. The night Simon walks into the Twelve Acres Diner and meets Willa face to face, in a swirl of electric heat, they are bound to one another and glimpse the magic of who they are.

Across town a witch is held prisoner in the derelict basement of an old Victorian house. One night as it rains, she dares to reach her filthy, scarred hand out the window. Willa, walking home from work, recognizes the pathetic hand from a recent, terrible dream.

After a daring rescue of the witch, Willa and Simon are catapulted into the alluring but dangerous world of witchcraft and the magic of The Six Gifts. Answers to all their questions are within reach, but they’ve stepped into the middle of a deadly fight for the Powers of the Earth. Do they stay, risk their lives on the promise of power, or walk away?

Teri Harman's groundbreaking debut novel, the first installment in The Moonlight Trilogy, completely reinvents the modern concept of witches and magic. With its authentic translation of the history of witches into a fresh and entertaining package with unprecedented characterization, Blood Moon is sure to capture readers from the first page.

MY RATE: 3.9 out of 5 stars

MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK:
Problem? What do authors have with not clarifying in wHaT point of view it is in?!
Likes?
I completely love Willa's character! Ever since I started reading it I fell in love with the character! I mean in a completely platonic way.
I completely felt connected in here and her hobbies and everything.
The way it was all expressed was SOOOOO  awesome!

I loved that they clarified in the first pages the different types of witches that existed instead of making me need to look for a specific page and then waste 20 minutes looking for a page to just read one paragraph.
Simon was so sweet and nice! I ended up thinking that I don't want a Romeo anymore than I currently do. ( I will explain in a soon to be posted post)

MY SHIP? Willa + Simon = Silla? Wimon?
PROBLEM WITH THIS SHIP? I don't want a easy relationship! I want a relationship that seems real and has ups and downs!  One where makes me angry but in the end makes me feel so happy that they end up together!

I RECCOMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO:
A) Likes Beautiful Creatures
B)Loves books with witches
C)Is looking for an inbetween book (aka the type of book you read after a heartbreaking book)

Genre: Young Adult, Dystopian Novel

Source: I received a review copy.

Goodreads Description:

A top fashion label employs sixteen-year-old Marla to dictate hot new clothing trends, while Ivy, a teen pop star, popularizes the garments that Marla approves. Both girls are pawns in a calculated but seductive system of corporate control, and both begin to question their world’s aggressive levels of consumption. Will their new “eco-chic” trend subversively resist and overturn the industry that controls every part of their lives?
MY RATE: 3.9 out of 5

MY OPINIONS AND THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK:
I really, really think that this was a very good idea for a book!
I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the confusion it caused me transitioning from points of views,
This is like a type of project runway where fashion is everything.
and by everything I mean everything.
You have to keep up with the trends and if you don't you are a obsoloser. It alters between the points of view of Marla and Ivy (starting with Marla in 1st person point of view and followed by Ivy with 3rd person point of view.) and it shows the life of two different yet alike characters.

This book made me change my perspective in a lot of things, it also reminded me that a lot of people have lives where it isn't all rainbows and butterflies. This is a book that has changed me so much even if I only read it for a while. I did not expect Ivy's ending at all!!

COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO:
A) LOVES FASHION
B) IS INTO DYSTOPIAN

FAVORITE QUOTE:
"Oh and Eva" he said quickly.
"No matter what they tell you...
   you always have a choice."

Now that I finished this book
 I will never read again.
